Although not having held a press conference ahead of tomorrow’s fixture against Sampdoria, Inter coach Walter Mazzarri spoke briefly with Inter Channel ahead of tomorrow nights Serie A fixture.

Sampdoria is enjoying a great run in the league at the minute, how will Inter need to play to beat them?

“Sampdoria is an in form team, the numbers speak for them. We, however, even with the aid of that beautiful setting that we had at the stadium against Napoli, need to look to try to give a performance like we did that night. In Cesena we gott of on the right foot, crushing our opponents for the first 30 minutes on a touch pitch, I’m happy with the squads performance in these 2 last games. We will have this attitude tomorrow evening.”

What gives you serenity ahead of tomorrow’s match?

“We are in a state of emergency, it’s a question of numbers which you can see. I’ve tried to make things clear that if we do things well, everyone in the team can play. The team made certain aspects really well like not allowing them to find a lot fo space, tomorrow I want to see that whoever enters the pitch is aggressive, shows spirit and is always willing to sacrifice to achieve the results needed.”

Is playing at the San Siro a factor?

“When we’re going through difficult times we need to move forward together, the atmosphere against Napoli gave us the impetus and drive to give a good performance, even if we weren’t lucky with regards to certain episodes in that match. I hope that after what happened at Cesena, that this can work as a good omen so that the epidsodes of the match will give us a reason to turn things around completely and to give a good solid performance.”
