FcInterNews – A mediocre performance by the team, maybe expectations were a bit higher after the game against Napoli which seemed promising. Can you bounce back right away against Cesena?
“Yes, we played well against Napoli, especially in the first half. Today was a bit difficult because it was a physical game, with many tackles and a lot of interruptions. It was not a nice game, and a draw turned out to be a fair result. Now we have seven points, and we should put all focus on Cesena”.
Today Massimo Moratti resigned from his responsibilities as vice president. How did the team react to this quite surprising move?
“It’s not an issue for us. I know Moratti and I can say that he is a really great person who has done important work for Inter. That is all I can tell you, these questions should be asked to the club management and not to the players”.
FcInterNews – Thohir came down to the dressing room, did you talk to him?
“He always comes to visit us either before or after the game, just to have a chat. He is a great president, very positive, and we are happy to have him with us”.
Do you feel well? Or are you still looking to improve physically game after game?
“Today was a difficult game for me as well, I didn’t play well. I didn’t find space, but now we need to concentrate on getting three points against Cesena”.
You are a close friend of HNK Rijeka striker Andrej Kramaric, who has said that he would like to play with you again in the future. Would you recommend him to join Inter in January?
“I can tell you that he is a great player who has scored a lot for Rijeka. He could help us because he has goodtechnical qualities and he scores a lot. But this is a question for the management”.
