Rodrigo Palacio is looking to kick start his season with a goal and victory against Cagliari. According to Corriere dello Sport the Argentinian is desperate to put his injury and World Cup disappointment behind him. From the injury which occurred in early June to the missed chance against Germany in the final it’s been a testing summer for the ex Genoa man. However he has always shown an ability to bounce back from any setback, in both 2009-10 and 2010-11 he didn’t get off the mark until October and November respectively.
