Remember Alejandro “Papu” Gomez of Catania? During Andrea Stramaccioni’s time at Inter, Gomez were very close to joining Inter, instead, he chose to leave Italy and sign for Ukrainian side Metalist Kharkiv. The adventure in Ukraine has not turned out the way Gomez hoped for and he now wants to leave after only a year. Metalist have agreed to sell the Argentinian winger and Inter stands interested again, since they see Gomez as a low-cost option as opposed to other targets like Lavezzi, Cerci or Firmino.
