Moretto, there’s talk of an agreement reached between Inter and Sampdoria for the sale of Campagnaro to the Ligurian team. What can you say?
“I spoke with Hugo and I can definitely say that he doesn’t go to Genoa. It ‘a very personal discussion: in this case, he prefers to go to Sampdoria. I can tell you that there might be an agreement between Inter and Sampdoria, but no one has talked to him. There is nothing official at the moment.”
By when will we know the future of Hugo?
“Do you know what the problem is? Hugo doesn’t want to leave Inter. If it were up to him he would stay. Evidently, it is the company that wants to let him go and there are clubs who want him.”
Does it make you happy that even clubs like Juventus and Atletico Madrid are interested?
“Yes, yes of course. He played the World Cup, is an Argentine National. We know that Hugo is also liked by Simeone, but then, there at Atletico there are talks of budget and salary you have to deal with. At the moment, however, I know nothing of Juve. I can tell you that Conte wanted him, but then nothing came of it.”
