The gap between Inter and Cardiff for the signature of Gary Medel stands at just €500k. Piero Ausilio is employing the same level of patience which saw him land Yann M’Vila after an exhausting negotiation earlier this month. If the Welsh side were to suddenly raise their demand, Ausilio already has a Plan B. He is of course Valon Behrami, the Swiss international is a former pupil of Walter Mazzarri and would be very welcome at Appiano Gentile.
