Interviewed by Roberto Scarpini for Inter Channel, the Inter coach Walter Mazzarri spoke of this first part of the season in Val Rendena and the state of the team, not to mention the excellent time of a particular player.
THE FANS – “I’m happy with what we have built in this training camp. Last year there were some difficult moments, but this enthusiasm is the best way to start the season.”
CHARACTER OBJECTIVES – “I would like to see grit and people who never give up, things that should never be missing on the pitch. I will inspire players to do this.”
NEW GROUP – “We have renewed, but up to now they have blended both technical/tactical as well as human. The boys love each other and are stimulated. Everything is there to make this an important year.”
DEFENSIVE ALIGNMENT – “We will try the department back with four defenders given that opponents know us after last season. We have to be a chameleon to change even during the games. We are working with 3-4 modules and I’ll try to teach them all to the best.”
NEW PURCHASES – “They are integrated and are showing great availability. Vidic has a lot of experience and understands everything faster. But the others, especially Dodò, are doing well also. Well, then, there are both the new and the confirmed.”
