Juventus FC v FC Internazionale Milano - Serie A

Despite the denials by both club and president, Tuttosport seem convinced that the possibility remains to see Inter’s star players leave the football club this summer. The Turin based daily newspaper this morning reports that the meeting in Madrid this past week between Piero Ausilio, Beppe Bozzo (The representative of Mazzarri & advisor to Inter) and Atletico Madrid could lead to a huge upheaval at the Nerazzurri. With no offers on the table for Fredy Guarin and the finances looking particularly bad (€80 million deficit in this year alone) Inter are ready to take drastic action. If an offer was to arrive for around €45 million for the services of both Icardi and Handanovic Inter could be tempted. One target they would dearly love to obtain is that of Mario Suarez, it’s possible he could come into the negotiations between the two clubs.

As for Icard’s replacement, Mario Mandzukic is the current favourite. The Croatian international seems to be the odd man out at Bayern after the recent arrival of Robert Lewandowski. The next few days could prove pivotal for Inter’s mercato. Erick Thohir is in Milan and after tomorrow’s board meeting there will undoubtedly be contact again between Inter and Atletico.
