Previously rumoured Inter target Andreas Beck will continue to play with Hoffenheim, as the captain has extended his contract until 2017. The statement released on the  German club’s website indicates that the defender will remain tied to Hoffenheim for another 3 years. The defender, who was rumoured to be in Inters sights reacted to the news, stating: “Hoffenheim has always been my first option. I have learned a lot here, this is the club where I grew up and to which I am bound. The trust placed in me provides motivation: now I am happy that the issue is resolved and that we can continue together.”
