Former Inter youth player Mattia Destro has reportedly attracted interest from his old club Inter. Destro has impressed for the Giallorossi since returning from injury with a goal ratio greater than one a game this term.

Destro was sold in 2010 to Genoa as part of the deal that saw Andrea Ranocchia join Inter, reports this week from a number of outlets are that the Milan outfit have identified the 23-year-old as another possible target this summer aside from Edin Dzeko, Alvaro Morata and Fernando Torres.

It is believed that Inter see the striker as having the potential to link well with Rodrigo Palacio and Mauro Icardi, whilst like Morata he is also one who would aid in the club’s focus to reduce the playing staff’s average age. However, Roma are seen as unwilling to part with Destro and hold him to a valuation of €25m. The capital club paid a total of €16m to sign him in 2012.
