After the contract extensions for Rodrigo Palacio and Fredy Guarin it seemed only a matter of time before Ricky Alvarez put pen to paper with Inter. Tuttosport this morning however report that negotiations have broken off due to the players excessive wage demands. The entourage of the Argentinian international have requested double his current €1.5 million salary. Inter have pulled back to think things over as they deem the price too high. Meanwhile Atletico Madrid continues to follow developments closely. The players current deal expires in 2016.
