Before Argentina’s recent international in Romania, Inter’s Ricky Alvarez spoke to TyC Deportes:

“I just hope to do well and continue to play as I have done so far. I just want to have fun and give my best for the shirt I’m wearing. My role? Surely I am more comfortable playing as a trequartista centrally but can also play in other positions on the field each of which requires precise characteristics. Lately I’ve been playing in Italy as a midfielder because many Serie A teams defend very low and then, starting from further back I have more space and this helps me a lot. I have no problems doing either the midfield role or playing wider in attack: I do what it takes to help the team.”
