According to the British news portal Football Direct News, the Premier League club’s manager is interested in the Argentinian who is still under contract with Inter. Brendan Rodgers is looking for reinforcements for Liverpool as his side has recently been fielding a three-man defence, leaving the coach with few centre-back alternatives on the bench. Since AC Milan seem unlikely to exercise the right to buy Silvestre, a move to Anfield could be a possible solution.
