Gennaro Gattuso was interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport and talked about his new career as a coach. The former Milan player had to leave Palermo in September and is, since then, looking for a new club where he can continue his managerial career.

In recent weeks we have been reading about offers from the east and the opportunity to coach Glasgow. Is that true?

“There was an offer from Malaysia, but I chose to stay here and find a coaching bench for June. I would accept a proposal from Rangers, but not only that.”

Even from Inter and Juventus?

“At this stage I don’t want to… but why not? Rejecting it wouldn’t be professional, although I always have been and always will be a Milanista. As a player I would have said no to both Inter and Juventus but this is a another job.”
