Alvaro Recoba to hang up his boots: “My last year”

From Uruguay we get the news that Inter’s former trequartista, and favorite of Massimo Moratti, Alvaro Recoba will hang up his boots and retire from football at the end of this season.

“I don’t want to quit, but If I don’t feel a hundred procent at the end of the season, this will be my last year. I’m thinking about quitting because I don’t want to be a burden to my team if I can’t play on a regular basis. If I keep feeling like a burden to the team, this will be my last year.”
