Turin based daily Tuttosport takes a look at the transfer market for Inter as they see it. Erick Thohir has two names in mind: Radja Nainggolan and Edin Dzeko. With the Belgian the situation is complicated. If Cagliari are high enough up the rankings in January, Massimo Cellino will honour his agreement with both Juventus and the player in order to facilitate a move away from Sardinia. However, if Cagliari’s position in the league looks precarious however then a sale will not occur before the summer: Enter Inter. The article then discusses what it describes as Thohir’s ‘big purchase’ for the summer Edin Dzeko. Inter are hoping that in January the return of Milito and Icardi will negate the need to buy a forward (Dzeko would be very difficult to purchase at this time, maybe a loan with a redemption clause) but in June things may change. With Milito departing and little guarantee so far from Belfodil and Icardi another alternative is Osvaldo who Mazzarri held in high regard when the possibility arose of Cavani leaving Naples in the summer of 2012.

Where is all this money coming from? Tuttosport explains: The Indonesian tycoon (Thohir) , together with his partners Roeslani and Soetedjo , poured into the coffers of Inter 79 million that will be used primarily to pay off the deficit for the next budget (which will be closed June 30, 2014 ) , around 55 million. Also to finance a big chunk of the future acquisition campaign . Thohir together with this money is hoping to add that which comes from qualifying for the  ’14 -15 edition of the Champions League, usually estimated at around 30 million. A total that would give Inter a transfer kitty of around €60 million.
