In an interview with Corriere dello Sport, Juventus player Claudio Marchisio talked about Saturday’s game between Inter and Juventus: “To beat a strong team like Inter already in the third round of the League would be a nice achievement. I’m curious to see this new Inter to find out how good they are and what kind of season they will have. This year Inter will not be involved in European cups and that’s important.”
On comparisons between this Inter and Juventus during Conte’s first time in the club: “I don’t know, I don’t think so, it’s difficult to make comparisons. We have had an exceptional season this year, culminating with a great Scudetto. I wish Inter that, but for me it was an experience that can not be repeated. They have always made it difficult for us and last year they even defeated us. This year they have a new coach and given the excellent start to the season, I expect a very tough group. I’m sorry about not being able to be there, but the team performs well and is in good shape. I have confidence in my teammates. We are waiting for them to come back from their commitments with their national teams and make use of the little time we have to prepare for the meeting.”
