Manchester City defender Micah Richards has been rumored to be heading to Inter and in interviews in the British media, he explains that he is flattered by Inter’s interest. The Englishman’s priority is, however, his current club, and he says he’s ready to fight for a place in the starting eleven: “I want to stay, no player would ever want to leave this club, but it’s also true that all players want to play. I’ll only leave if I don’t get the opportunity to do so. Last year was a nightmare because of injuries, but I remain positive: if I’m in shape, I know I can compete with anyone at my position. Inter chasing me? It’s always nice to be associated with big clubs, but at the moment I’m not thinking of leaving. Manchester City is my club, I’ve been here since I was 14 years old and I probably know it better than any other player here.”
