“He is used to spending money, except with us. But today it is an Inter that can win the scudetto” says the Spaniard.
Like thunder Rafa Benitez once again hurls an attack versus Inter in an interview with Eurosport. “In Milan there was a special situation, and if we analyze the trajectory of Inter you realize that in that year they didn’t spend the money they needed to spend”, says the new Napoli coach. He then continues, underlining that new signings have been made now.
“But in these last years they have spent a lot but without returning to the same level. But I think that they have a good team this season, a new coach and that they now can finish in the top. It is a team that from the first day must aim for the scudetto. For us on the other hand it was a different experience, positive because we won two titles and we learnt a lot of how serie a works that I hope will help us this year”.
Regarding the scudetto race Benitez points out that; “Inter is a strong team, with great fans and a president that is in the habit of spending money, except for in our case. But usually he spends them”, attacks Benitez and then continues. “They also have a new coach, one of those with which you can aim for the title”.
