Transfermarket expert Alfredo Pedullá writes on his official homepage about Matias Silvestre’s situation at Inter: “The player wasn’t on the list of players chosen for the pre-season training camp, a choice which was made together with Mazzarri who has made it abundantly clear to the player that he will not be part of the coaches plans this coming season. If Silvestre thought he would get a new chance, he apparently thought wrong. Now he hasn’t got the same time to think Parma’s offer through and time seems to add to Parma’s advantage. This story is very similar to that of Jonathan a couple of months ago: the player first refused to be sold before changing his mind, Meanwhile, Parma have snapped up Felipe whilst waiting for Silvesre to accept.”
