Laxalt is playing well in the U-20 World Cup. He has shown what he is really worth?

“He competes in a big tournament and I’m happy for him. He is very charged, is thinking of the World Cup, but even more about the future with Inter.”

Will he go straight to Pinzolo when the World Cup is over?

“Yes, when the competition is over, he will rush to Italy. He longs to start working with Mazzarri and with his new teammates. He will be in Pinzolo as soon as his commitments in Turkey are over.”

Will he be presented in Pinzolo?

“Yes, we have to wait and see if Uruguay make it to the final. In mid-July he will be there.”

Are Inter watching Laxalt during the World Cup?

“I am very happy and he is still Inter’s, although I’ve already had six or seven phone calls. Everybody wants him, but Inter has said he will stay.”

Will he play in the first team the coming season?

“We have to wait for Mazzarri and the new process. The intention is to keep him at Inter.”

Mazzarri, what does he think of him?

“He has qualities that suits his game, as his driving force. For definitive judgments, we must wait.”

If he leaves, it will be only on loan?

“But they will certainly want to keep him. In football anything can happen, but their idea is to keep him. During the preseason, this will be evaluated in detail.”

“In Italy, almost all: Roma, Sampdoria, Udinese and several other…”
