During a celebration held in Genoa, Sampdoria’s president Edoardo Garrone talked once again about the possibility of a return of Antonio Cassano: “The fans understand. Antonio has given us more than three years of football show. But it is useless to talk about his return for two reasons: his salary is bigger than this club’s revenue and also, players who return don’t do as well as the first time. It is better to build Sampdoria around youngsters who can give us satisfaction in the future.”
