“Porto: Fernando will leave”
News about Fernando is arriving from Portugal; he is on the market. This is not really news, but the fact that €10 million won’t be enough to steal him away from Porto is. The Dragões have just turned down an offer of €10M from Monaco that has already poured money into the Portuguese club with the signings of James Rodriguez and João Moutinho (€70M for both).
According to Portuguese sources Porto has already informed the new coach Paulo Fonseca that Fernando will not be part of the squad the coming season. Among other things the midfielder on Inter’s radar has a contract that will expire in 2014 and will thus be able to leave on free transfer in January.
