Gianluca di Marzio writes on his Blog that Stramaccioni has been fired and that he and Inter are now negotiating about an economical compensation:
“The only thing that is missing is the official announcement. Stramaccioni has been fired and Mazzarri will replace him. Even Stramaccioni received the communication yesterday. Yesterday night Marco Branca called him and announced the decision. Inter want to resolve the contract or make a deal for the sum that the coach will receive, so that Inter won’t have to pay Stramaccionis full contract until 2015. Stramaccioni is said to be very disappointed and might not want to start a new coaching adventure straight away. It doesn’t seem like Stramaccioni intends to resolve the contract and this makes an economical compensation the most possible solution”
