Our partners at FcInterNews.it reveal that Napoli have officially approched Inter to enquire as to the availability of Fredy Guarin. Last week Napoli’s Director of Sport called Marco Branca to ask what Inter’s intentions are regarding the Colombian, if Inter would entertain an offer for him. Inter has stated that for the moment they consider Fredy Guarin to be the backbone of the team for the next three years together with Handanovic and Juan Jesus. But Guarin is a player who is highly regarded on the transfer market as he is very liked by several Premier League teams whilst Napoli’s interest further illustrates that the player is very valuable as he is a type of player which is very hard to find from a technical and tactical point of view.

Therefore Inter value him to be somewhere in the region of 20-25 million Euros but as things stand today there is no chance that Guarin will leave Milano to go to Napoli or any other team. On the other hand we are only in May and these truths can turn out to be false, especially if an elevated offer were to arrive later on in the summer, something which also applies to Handanovic and his situation at Inter.
