Carlo Osti, DS of Sampdoria spoke today to Sky about the future of three of his young talented players. Simone Zaza, Vincenzo Regini and Mauro Icardi.
On Regini:
“He was on loan in Empoli and now we intend to take him back to us to let him prove what he can do during the next season. He’s got a lot of qualites.”
On Zaza:
“We had long talks with Zaza, at this club we want our players to carry our shirt with pride, but it does not seem like Zaza wants to stay with Sampdoria, so we are likely to separate ways during the summer.”
On Icardi:
“He found himself in the limelight after some great performances which also saved much of our season this year, due to his goals. His dip is simply mental and has nothing to do with transfer rumors.”
