Today, the English tabloid The Sun presented today a list of the ten worst signings this season. At spot number 10 we find Douglas Maicon who arrived from Inter. Inter made, according to the tabloid, a good deal by selling him to Manchester City and writes: “Mancini was over the moon after bringing Maicon — who he managed at Inter Milan — to Manchester. There were question marks over the Brazil full-back’s fitness, however, and an injury-hit season backed up the doubters. Even if he had been fit all season, the impressive Pablo Zabaleta has established himself as City’s first-choice right-back and would surely have kept his place.”
