Gianluca di Marzio writes on his blog about the situation between Inter and Icardi:
“Icardi and Inter come closer to eachother, but the deal is not yet done. After the player gave his availability to Inter the club started to negotiate with his agents, after getting the permission from Sampdoria. All by the rules and there’s a deal between the agents of Icardi and Inter which will be finished the next meeting between the two parts. The only thing that’s missing now is the agreement between Inter and Sampdoria, the two clubs have talked on the phone but haven’t yet sat down and negotiated concretely. They should do it in the next Lega-meeting. An agreement could come though. Napoli will meet Icardis agent in the beginning of the next week. The argentine striker is available for them as well, but Napoli have offered lower wages. Icardis appeal is very high right now and Inter have taken very important steps forward that they hope will give them the player.”
