Dutch newspaper Voetball International reports that Wesley Sneijder har turned down the offer from Turskish giants Fenerbahce, something that has been rumoured with quite some regularity over these past few days. The Turkish club hade made an offer to loan the player for the rest of the season but were turned down, not by Inter but by the player himself where he late last night thanked Fenerbahce for showing an interest in him but decided to turn them down nonetheless. Sneijder is yet to give a definite answer to Inter’s contract offer although all reports seem to indicate that he will turn it down.
