Holland star Sneijder is currently banned from featuring for the Inter first-team until he signs a new contract at the club that includes a significant wage cut.

A furious Sneijder is refusing to accept the conditions, and is instead looking at options for a potential exit in the January transfer window.

Manchester United, Schalke and Russian club Anzhi have all been linked with bumper moves for the 28-year-old, and with no end in sight to the row, he admits his future is totally up the air.

‘I am happy here, but I don’t know what will happen,’ he said when asked by fans about about a move in January.

The comments will no doubt open the door for substantial interest, and Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is one of the Dutchman’s biggest fans.

Mancini is known to have twice tried to buy Sneijder for City, and with reports in Italy suggesting that he will be available for £15million, the Italian is unlikely to miss out on a potential bargain.
